Home office
A dedicated workspace at home can turn part of your rent, utilities and internet into a deduction.
Vehicle & mileage
Business miles add up fast. We help you choose the standard mileage or actual-expense method that saves you more.
Supplies, tools & equipment
From a laptop to the tools of your trade: the ordinary costs of doing the work.
Phone, internet & software
The business share of the services you rely on every day.

Sole Proprietor, LLC or S Corp? What It Means for Your Taxes
Your business structure changes how you are taxed, what you file and how much self-employment tax you pay. There is no one right answer, only the right answer for you. We explain the trade-offs plainly, then handle the filings when you decide.
Sole proprietor
Simplest to run. Income flows to your personal return on Schedule C, and you pay self-employment tax on the profit.
LLC
Adds legal separation between you and the business. Taxed like a sole proprietorship or partnership by default, with election options as you grow.
S corporation
Once your profit is steady and higher, an S corporation election can reduce self-employment tax, with added payroll and filing responsibilities.

Quarterly Estimated Taxes, Explained
When no employer is withholding for you, the IRS expects you to pay as you earn, usually four times a year. If you expect to owe $1,000 or more, missing those payments can add underpayment penalties on top of the tax. We calculate what you should send each quarter, remind you before each deadline and adjust as your income changes, so April is never a shock.
- ✓We estimate your quarterly payments from your real numbers
- ✓You get reminders before every deadline
- ✓We adjust mid-year if your income rises or falls
- ✓No underpayment surprises when you file
Upcoming: January 15, 2027 (4th quarter 2026) · April 15, June 15 and September 15, 2027.
Texas Business Compliance, Handled
Running a business in Texas means filings beyond your income taxes. Miss them and the penalties stack up fast, sometimes all the way to losing your good standing. We keep you covered on every front.
Sales tax filing: monthly, quarterly or annual
If you sell taxable goods or services, Texas requires you to collect sales tax and file returns on the schedule the state assigns. We prepare and file every period on time, so you never fall behind.
Sales tax permit review
Not sure you need to collect sales tax? We review your business to determine whether you need a Texas Sales and Use Tax Permit and help you get compliant if it is missing. The permit itself is free from the Texas Comptroller.
Texas franchise tax filing
Almost every LLC, corporation and registered entity in Texas must file a franchise tax report with the Texas Comptroller each year, generally due May 15, even if no tax is owed. Miss it and the consequences escalate: a $50 late-filing penalty on each report, penalties and interest on any tax due, and loss of good standing. Left unresolved, Texas can forfeit your business’s right to transact business. We prepare and file your franchise tax report and Public Information Report so none of that happens.
Business Forfeited for Failure to File? We Help You Reactivate It Fast.
If your Texas business lost its good standing or was forfeited, we file the delinquent franchise tax reports, get your tax clearance and prepare the reinstatement. With our expedited courier program, filings are hand-delivered in Austin instead of mailed, and typical turnaround is about two weeks from complete documentation. Timelines vary with state processing and how many years are delinquent.
